Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Owen Gleiberman Variety The plot vaccums up all the other characters’ secrets, then spews them out in a Christmas-as-disaster climax. It’s all spanked along by one of those golly-gee bumptious holiday musical scores. Dec 2, 2024 Full Review Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Benjamin Lee Guardian Lohan and Harding are decent enough at the bantering -- the latter has a Seth MacFarlane-esque elasticity that really works here -- but the script, from first-time writer Hailey DeDominicis, isn’t smart or inventive enough to really stretch them. Rated: 3/5 Nov 27, 2024 Full Review Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Johnny Oleksinski New York Post Although a quick summary would suggest that “Our Little Secret” is the simplest and most domestic of Lohan’s trilogy of terror, the devices that lead to its wrap-up are anything but Hallmark happy. Rated: 1.5/4 Nov 27, 2024 Full Review Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Chris Wasser Sunday Independent (Ireland) A romantic comedy that’s neither funny nor romantic, this humdrum holiday feature is a bit of a chore – too bland to care about, too harmless to lose sleep over. Rated: 2/5 Dec 2, 2024 Full Review Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Ayeen Forootan In Review Online [A] family-friendly take on mismatched relationships and emotional secrecy never rises above the tier of harmless one-time holiday viewing, the kind of film you’re happy to watch as tree lights twinkle but which you’re unlikely to return in future years. Dec 2, 2024 Full Review Our Little Secret | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Rachel Wagner Rachel's Reviews (YouTube) The likable cast does a lot of heavy lifting on this one. It's pretty funny but I wish more time was spent on the romance Nov 29, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

N P "Our Little Secret" is a fun, light rom-com that just happens to be set during the holidays. The childhood, lived in chemistry between the two leads is believable and sweet. There were some chuckles as some comedic scenarios played out. The side stories within the whole family was a nice surprise and widened the story's scope, making the film more well-rounded. You can put the film on, relax and have a good time with the whole family. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Shakiyla A I genuinely enjoyed this movie. Ian and Lindsay worked really well together. It was funny and keeps you interested throughout the whole movie. The kind of movie you can watch many times. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Brenda K The best part of this movie was the visit to the vet. Not one “couple” had any chemistry between them. So awkward, and not in a funny way. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Kenneth H Lohan was excellent. Bunch of twists. Good humor and a great Christmas movie. Watch it. You won’t regret jt. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Love I I never thought I'd like another movie from Lindsay after Mean Girls; thought she was done, except for her awesome music. But this was so wholesome without being kitschy or low-brow. She's so much more mature, with grace and finesse. Prettier than she's ever been. The movie is adorable, a holiday goodie. 👍 Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Papy D "Our Little Secret": The Formula and Breakthroughs of a Romantic ComedyThe movie "Our Little Secret" has drawn the audience's attention with its unique story setting and unfolds an emotional journey full of twists and laughter within the framework of a romantic comedy. The story setting of the film ingeniously creates a highly dramatic situation. Avery and Logan, a pair of former lovers, were compelled to share the same room during Christmas many years after their break-up because of the curious fate that their new partners were siblings. What's more, they had to keep their past romantic relationship strictly confidential. This setting is like a stone dropped into a calm lake, immediately creating one ripple after another and bringing continuous comic conflicts and emotional tensions to the story. It not only builds an atmosphere full of suspense and anticipation for the audience but also offers rich possibilities for the interactions among the characters, making the audience curious about how they will cope in this awkward and delicate situation. In terms of plot development, generally speaking, it is relatively smooth, yet it can't conceal the traces of following a set pattern. The progression of the plot basically adheres to the common patterns of romantic comedies, and the transitions of some key plots seem a bit rigid. For instance, the plot where Avery and Logan rekindle their old affection lacks meticulous emotional groundwork. It appears to happen hurriedly just to drive the plot towards a happy ending, making it difficult for the audience to deeply sense the rationality and inevitability of the revival of their love. Regarding rhythm control, the build-up in the first half is somewhat sluggish, spending too much time introducing the characters' relationships and creating the atmosphere, which results in the rather hasty outburst of emotions and conflicts in the second half, and the audience's sense of emotional immersion has not been fully aroused. When it comes to character shaping, the performances of the main characters differ. Avery, played by Lindsay Lohan, has successfully crafted the image of a modern woman combining confidence and vulnerability. Her entanglement and struggle when facing her old love and the new family environment are demonstrated through her refined performance. Her performance in comedic scenes is also relatively natural and lively, adding a lot of charm to the character. However, Logan, played by Ian Harding, who acts alongside her, is somewhat inferior. The character image is not rich and three-dimensional enough, and his performance lacks highlights. He fails to form a strong emotional resonance and chemical reaction with Lindsay Lohan, which weakens the allure of the love line between the two to some extent. It is worth noting that the wonderful performances of the supporting characters have added a great deal of color to the film. Erica, played by Kristin Chenoweth, vividly depicts the role of the hero's mother. Her image of a powerful yet humorous "southern queen bee" comes alive on the screen through her highly expressive performance. Every glance and every line of hers exudes unique charm, bringing numerous laughter and warm moments to the film. Her scenes with other characters, whether it's the subtle interactions with Avery or the emotional entanglements with her son Logan, all display rich emotional layers and become a beautiful sight in the film.Overall, "Our Little Secret" has its novelty in the story setting and can attract the audience into the cinema. However, there are still some deficiencies in the rationality of plot development, rhythm control, and the emotional shaping of the main characters. Nevertheless, the excellent performances of the supporting characters make up for these flaws to some extent, making the film still possess a certain degree of watchability and entertainment value, adding a unique flavor to the genre of romantic comedies and also enabling the audience to experience the sweetness and bitterness of love while enjoying a lot of laughter and touching moments during the viewing process.I usually use these two sites for more free movies and short dramas. If you have a better website, please recommend it to me.
